VERBUND is Austria's leading electricity company and one of the largest producers of electricity from hydropower in Europe.

VERBUND AG, headquartered in Vienna, was founded in 1947 and is active in the areas of electricity generation, trade, transmission and sales. VERBUND has been listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange since 1988 with 51% of the share capital being owned by the Republic of Austria. With our employees, some 3,000 in number, we achieved a turnover of 3.3 billion Euro in 2010.
