  "I applied for the trainee programme at VERBUND because I wanted to begin a career in the energy industry upon completing my studies. The trainee programme was most definitely a successful start to professional life. Alongside the diverse training courses, the personal development programme and the guided tours of power plants that were offered to us, we also benefited from the activities in the three different trainee placements. Thus, within a relatively short space of time, you became acquainted with several departments and companies and took important professional and personal contacts away with you. • The Perfect Opportunity to Explore Individual Interests

  “Immediately upon completing my degree as an industrial engineer, I was not really sure as to which area of my training I should pursue. The VERBUND trainee programme thereby seemed to me to be the perfect opportunity to explore my actual interests and to get to know a large company from various perspectives. Being assigned to managers in their capacity as mentors, as well as to experienced colleagues in the individual departments, was helpful for quickly making contacts and finding your way within the company. A major plus of the programme is the possibility to participate in many interesting training programmes and workshops. In the process you become acquainted with colleagues from all areas of the Group, but – above all – with the other trainees. Resulting from this are acquaintances and also friendships, which not only provide support for professional issues - but for private ones as well.”
