Is the Energy Turnaround Turning Europe into a Live Wire? This is the central question surrounding the energy turnaround. The energy turnaround is a political decision, putting it into action is up to society, the economy and the energy industry. But what are the consequences?

Day 1: Wednesday, 18 September 2013

The first day will be dealing with the economic and political challenges, chances and risks regarding the execution of the energy turnaround.

Day 2: Thursday, 19 September 2013

The main focus will be on the restructuring of the energy system and the tasks yet undefined for society, politics and the economy when it comes to implementing this change.

Day 3: Friday, 20 September 2013

On the third day, the conference will be offering three parallel options to choose from: - Topical round tables on citizens’ acceptance of the energy turnaround - Best practice examples for the implementation of smart cities - Field trip to the pumped storage power plant Limberg II/Kaprun
