Mooserboden Kiosks

The "Information Centre" and "Mooserboden" kiosks offer delightful panorama terraces. The range of products available includes take-away drinks and snacks to satisfy small hunger pangs, films, marmot ointment and a large selection of souvenirs.

Fürthermoar Alm

Fürthermoar Alm, which also offers accommodation, is reached after a walk of around 45 minutes via the Kräuterlehrpfad (herbal educational trail) from Mooserboden reservoir. In the Alm Museum – a rustic, 18th century alpine hut – you will be transported back to the alpine life of yesteryear. In addition, the Fürther Moar has a restorative alpine snack in store for you – along with alpine products for purchase.

Heinrich-Schwaiger-Haus

Heinrich-Schwaiger-Haus lies at an altitude of 2,802 metres on the Salzburg side of Hohe Tauern National Park and is decidedly cosy for such a high lying refuge. However, the hut is not suited to family stays with children. The climb up to the hut, the surrounding area and also the summit tours are difficult or too dangerous for children. Nevertheless, the shelter (and possibly even the Große Wiesbachhorn) is a real adventure for young people with basic alpine experience.

Klammseestüberl (in the Valley)

With its peaceful, local recreational area, Klammseestüberl lies at the exit of Sigmund-Thun-Klamm and offers you a beautiful terrace in which to pass pleasant hours. Here, you can relax whilst enjoying snacks and drinks following a hike around Klamm Lake.
