Change in Shareholding Structure at VERBUND

The shareholding structure of VERBUND, Austria’s leading power company, has undergone change: The German energy group Energie Baden-Württemberg (EnBW) is now holding 6.33 % of the VERBUND shares.

In accordance with the stock exchange reporting requirements EnBW notified VERBUND that its affiliate STOCK (Stuttgart) has crossed the 5 %-threshold of the voting power at Verbundgesellschaft (Österreichische Elektrizitätswirtschafts-AG).

The EnBW shareholding, amounting to 4.99 % (1,540,000 shares) in the past, has increased to 6.33 % of the votes or 1,954,049 votes by the acquisition of another 1.34 % (414,049 shares).

Due to the Austrian electricity industry and organization act, the Republic of Austria continues to hold 51 % of the VERBUND shares.
