Monika Riedel takes on corporate communication of VERBUND AG

Monika Riedel takes on VERBUND’s corporate communication on 1 March 2023. She will thus be responsible for the areas of Public Relations, Brand Management/Advertising, Event/Sponsoring, Content Creation and Public Affairs at Austria’s leading energy company.
Monika Riedel has over 28 years of professional experience in the areas of corporate and capital market communication and business journalism. From 2017, as head of communication and corporate spokesperson of the listed company Semperit AG Holding, she was responsible for areas including sustainability agendas, and since 2020 has also been responsible for Investor Relations, Marketing and Brand Management of the Semperit Group. She previously held various key communication functions in the Raiffeisen Banking Group, including the listed company Raiffeisen Bank International. In parallel with her degree in Business Administration, she embarked on her professional life as a permanent member of the business editorial team of Austria Presse Agentur and as an editor in the business department of the daily newspaper Die Presse.
