First place for VERBUND at Careers Best Recruiters 2012/2013
In 2012, VERBUND ranked first place in the industry rankings in Austria. VERBUND attributes high value to recruitment as being critical for the success of the company. This award confirms VERBUND's prevailing recruiting and human resources marketing activities.
VERBUND, Austria’s leading electricity company, has succeeded in making it to no.1 in the industry ranking "energy company" in the largest recruitment study in Austria and Germany. VERBUND occupies the 6th position in the overall survey of Austria’s top 500 companies and institutions. On 29 January, the Federal Ministry of Science and Research presented VERBUND with the Golden Seal for the CAREER’S BEST RECRUITERS study.
The study affirms the high quality of VERBUND in the four segments of online recruiting presence, recruiting activities such as trade fair appearances and events, handling of candidates and feedback. VERBUND most notably set itself apart from competitors in the area of online recruiting presence and is the leader in the categories of homepage and social web. On account of its strong presence at recruiting fairs, VERBUND also attained the full number of points in these categories. "As industry winner, we can be satisfied with the results for VERBUND and continue to consequently follow the path that we have taken. Being open for new impetus and forward-looking solutions in recruiting and personnel marketing will also be important pacesetters for modern personnel management in the future," said Fiona Mahr, head of recruiting and personnel marketing at VERBUND.
