Mooser-Mandl, Drossen-Hex and Limberg-Zwerg: Climbing at the Höhenburg Via Ferrata Arena with its wide variety of fixed-rope and sport climbing opportunities is sure to be one of the vacation highlights in this region for both children and adults.

Mooser-Mandl, Drossen-Hex and Limberg-Zwerg

Three fixed-rope climbing routes with varying levels of difficulty were secured to the rock of the history-steeped Höhenburg. For the "Limberg-Zwerg" climbing route, even the well-preserved iron ladders of the former high mountain school were integrated. Along this simple route, the key section called the "dwarf ladder" with the difficulty level C (=difficult) is waiting to be mastered.

All three climbs end at the summit of the Höhenburg, which towers up between the Drossen and Mooser dams. Every climber should have a camera in his or her pack, because the climbing routes in the high mountain surroundings, with the high mountain reservoirs in the background, are a unique setting for athletes and recreational visitors alike. The descent back to the dam takes place via the comfortable Höhenburg hiking trail.

Sport climbing park at the summit

Whoever didn't get enough with the feat of a fixed-rope climbing route can use up more energy in the sport climbing park atop the Höhenburg. Well secured tours are waiting here to be tried.
