VERBUND Energy4Business GmbH, a leading European energy trading company of VERBUND AG, combines the marketing of its own power plants on European trading markets with energy procurement for all relevant stages of the value chain.

Its core activities also include the sale of electricity products and guarantees of origin, CO₂ certificates, large-scale photovoltaic plants, and e-charging infrastructure for industry and resellers, as well as flexibility trading for photovoltaic, wind, and hydroelectric power plant operators. In Germany, VEB is one of the largest investors in and marketers of battery storage.

The management team consists of Robert Slovacek and Jürgen Bormann, who jointly lead the VERBUND business unit.
