Gas labelling
VERBUND AG’s gas labelling in accordance with Section 130 of the Gas Act 2011 (GWG 2011) and the Gas Labelling Ordinance (G-KenV) for the period from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024. The current energy mix results in CO₂ emissions of 201 g/kWh. No radioactive waste is generated.
*Since 1 July 2025, VERBUND has been sourcing natural gas produced in Austria. Due to the statutory requirement to apply a retrospective approach to gas labelling, the procurement of Austrian gas cannot yet be reflected in the figures.
