Imagine we're in the year 2100. Humankind has been successful in stopping global warming. But how did they manage to stop the climate change? How do people live in 2100 and how do they obtain the energy they need for life?
Wanted: Creative ideas and exciting stories
The competition of VERBUND Climate School of Hohe Tauern National Park has called upon school classes, children and youth groups, to send in their ideas of life in the year 2100 in form of stories, drawings and models. The "trip to the future with Professor Meteo" allows them to deal with the subject areas of energy, traffic, natural resources, environment, and climate, in a way that is both creative and knowledgeable.
The most imaginative contributions will be judged by a jury according to two age categories (ages six to ten and ages 11 to 14) and awarded superb prizes.
Participate – and win!
Entry deadline is 17 May 2011. Should you have questions, please contact Angelika Staats of the Hohe Tauern National Park Centre. We wish you the best of luck and look forward to receiving many exciting future visions!
