VERBUND launches PV storage bonus campaign while also cutting prices for PV systems

VERBUND is rewarding all customers who opt for a combination of photovoltaic system (PV) and battery storage system with a PV storage bonus of €500. The campaign is intended to help reduce PV generation spikes around midday and relieve the load on the grids.

By installing a battery storage system, PV system owners can significantly increase the degree of self-consumption of their solar power production; this is a sensible measure in principle and especially given the present low feed-in tariffs. The attractive combination of PV system and storage system enables customers to lower their energy costs and at the same time contribute to relieving the load on the grids.
