VERBUND’s new V-Go charging app gives access to Austria’s largest fast charging network

VERBUND, Austria’s leading energy company, is expanding its electromobility offering. The new V-Go charging app allows electric car drivers to charge their vehicle easily and at attractive conditions throughout Austria. The app offers access to Austria’s largest fast charging network with transparent tariffs and user-friendly application – in line with the motto: download the app, charge your car and go.

Charge vehicles nationwide using Austria’s largest fast charging network

A particular advantage of the V-Go charging app is that it provides access to a broad charging network. Customers can use SMATRICS EnBW’s nationwide fast charging network as well as numerous other charging points in additional partner networks. In the app, this network is labelled “V-Go home network”. V-Go combines broad coverage and availability with attractive VERBUND tariff conditions.

Attractive tariffs for different charging needs

With V-Go, customers can use the attractive V-Go home network. There are two pricing models to choose from: V-Go BASIC and V-Go PREMIUM. While V-Go BASIC is particularly suitable for users who only occasionally charge in public, V-Go PREMIUM is aimed at customers who regularly use the public charging infrastructure. In the promotion period up to 31/01/2027, customers can charge from €0.49/kWh with V-Go BASIC (charging rate without commitment) or from €0.35/kWh with V-Go PREMIUM (charging rate with 12-month contract commitment) on the V-Go home network. As an added benefit, the monthly basic fee of €11.99 will be waived for V-Go PREMIUM until the end of January 2027.

Greater clarity and predictability when charging

The V-Go charging app makes public charging of e-cars clearer, more predictable and more suitable for everyday use. Customers can use an interactive map to find available charging points, filter by relevant criteria, and view availability and status in real time. Prices are transparently displayed before charging; charging can be started and viewed directly in the app. Billing is monthly according to the selected charging tariff.

The app is available free of charge from Google Play and the Apple Store. After logging in with an existing VERBUND online account or creating a new account, the app can be used right away. An account can also be created when a charging tariff is selected.
