Energie Austria in the Homestretch
The boards of management of the partner enterprises of Energie Austria, Energie AG OOE, EStAG and VERBUND, have reached an agreement in practically all major points on the future structure of the joint enterprise in today’s meeting of the steering committee. The required contracts and documents will be prepared in the next few days.
Now the owners are asked to give their consent to the realization of the leading Austrian power group whose power sales amount to a total of 41,000 gigawatt hours (GWh). The partners’ boards of management are calling on the owners to grant Energie Austria, the most powerful Austrian group with excellent competitiveness in the European power market, their full support and give their consent.
