Dörte Zink is the managing director of VERBUND Green Power Deutschland

Dörte Zink was appointed to the position of managing director of the German subsidiary of VERBUND Green Power in July 2024. In this position, she is responsible for the further expansion of the market for wind power and photovoltaic systems.

Dörte Zink has worked in the renewable energy sector since 2007; 13 years were spent at ABO Wind AG (now ABO energy), where she was responsible for international tasks in the areas of finance and project sales, project development, operational management and maintenance/repairs as General Manager, as well as for numerous M&A projects in Austria and abroad and for a total of nine countries. Most recently, she was CFO at Prowind GmbH, also an entrepreneur-led project development company, and additionally responsible for the development of photovoltaic projects.

Dörte Zink completed a banking apprenticeship before going on to study business administration at the University of Mannheim and the École supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales (ESSEC) in Paris.
