VERBUND Services acts for all VERBUND companies as an internal service provider for commercial and administrative services in matters of procurement, accounting and SAP programming. Our commercial experts have a high affinity for IT and drive the many projects with great enthusiasm and passion. We are always well networked and have an overview of all procedures and processes within the group. The primary goal: to take the strain off our customers so that they can concentrate on their core business

SAP development
With each new, internal decision, our need for SAP expertise also grow. In order to depict internal business process as clearly and efficiently as possible, we rely on SAP software. We have our own consultants for this, who support us in-house and make data administration easy. The SAP applications simplify our everyday work and accompany VERBUND daily on the path to success.

Procurement
In order for the VERBUND Group to be able to implement its projects, we in the Procurement department ensure the best-possible conditions on the international supplier market. We take care of procuring the necessary products and services cost-efficiently and sustainably. The broad-based procurement portfolio ranges from construction services and technical facilities to standard parts and services. For efficiency purposes, procurement is subdivided into the specialist areas of construction technology, power plant technology as well as infrastructure and general matters.
Controlling & Operations
The Controlling & Operations department is tasked with a wide range of tasks to do with the strategic, organisational and economic orientation of the company. Thus the tasks of the Corporate Office include the preparation, holding and follow-up of sessions of the General Meeting or management as well as ensuring compliance and functioning portfolio management. We keep VERBUND on course for success and control the economic viability of the company.
Financial Accounting
As the financial accounting department of Austria’s leading energy concern, we are aware of our responsibility to present the financial figures in line with regulatory requirements. Here, it’s important to think with vision and anticipate what might be around the corner. Each business case is analysed and evaluated from the perspective of corporation law, IFRS and tax law. In doing so, we look at all individual features of the individual group companies. To satisfy these requirements, we also work intensively across departments.
HR Services
In the HR Services department, we deal with all internal matters pertaining to operational human resources. As the first point of contact for employees, we are obliged to perform the strategic and operational human resources administration as well as to provide information on payslips. Beyond the above areas, we are involved in the ongoing processing of counselling talks on operational human resources affairs with managers and employees.
