Pöls Run-of-River Power Plant

VERBUND's power plant at Pöls is a run-of-river plant situated on the river Pöls (Mur area) and in them municipality of Pöls in Styria.

The Pöls run-of-river power plant was built between 1903 and 1904 and underwent a general refurbishment in 1976/77. Today, horizontal Francis turbines generate approximately 9 GWh of electricity annually.
